Good walking track around the point with some interesting bunkers along the way. The track is well maintained and makes climbing the hill not too difficult. There's signposts with directions telling you where each track goes, as well as a couple of signs with a bit of info on the history of the bunkers and area. Great views of the harbor entrance and sea, as well as the Breaker Bay beach and Pencarrow lighthouses. Be aware that it could get pretty windy up there, especially in a southerly. The views from the point are awesome and exceptional on a clear sunny day. The war time buildings and underground bunker kind of structure are a good place to visit here. The walks to the point and down to Breakers Bay are enjoyable and require a normal fitness level. The large ships sailing through the Wellington harbour can be seen from here and present a great sight. Well recommended for half a day...
