The beach is very harsh on your feet, and the strong current, copious seaweed and occasional bluebottle jellyfish, as well as the temperature, don't make it an ideal swimming spot. But the views are amazing, the rock pools are fun to explore and it's very relaxing with no traffic noise. Great spot for naturists to soak up some Vitamin D, although there should be some signage to warn those that aren't aware Breaker Bay is an official nudist beach.

Wonderful beach. Great place to walk, sit or have a picnic. Take a stroll to and around Point Dorset. Semi sheltered from wind. That day was very windy, but was not bothered here. Park easy and ample. Very quiet and not crowded.

Excellent, be yourself. Everyone enjoys chillax time listening to the ocean sounds feeling the cool warm wind blowing over your naked body for hours and into the evening, dusk sunset. Wellington Breakers Bay is the best!

Quiet public beach with great sunshine and protection from the southerly winds.

Breaker Bay is a great option for the brave: the Pacific waters can be ice cold even in summer, and the portion of BB the beach part the hole in the rock is nudist/naturalist friendly. Rumour has it there is a cruising spot down the beach's far end.

Vodafone and 2degrees don't have mobile phone service here, though you'll be safe with Spark.

Great place to soak up the sun...

A great beach to walk, relax, have a fire in the evening. Swimming can be hazardous though as the beach drops away steeply and there is a strong undercurrent, so I would err on the side of caution. Some good waves beyond for...
