Westland Recreation Centre — Attraction in West Coast

Fairly good place only gripe is the hot spa pool isn't always hot same with the therapy pool isn't always hot, sauna is though. But mens changing room showers are always tepid to cold so pays to use the family room showers if you need a warm shower, which means waiting because everyone else is wanting a decent shower too. Also the hydrotherapy pool is also the kids paddle pool so it has a lot of code brown incidences which shuts it down for two hours at a time. But overall it is a great asset to the coast. Give it a 5/10...

We came to the gym on our way through the town. We have been hitting quite many gyms with casual entrances on our way through the country, and this was the most expensive Vs. The value you get.

The casual entrance to the gym cost 18,5 dollars, and didn't include anything else, no swimming or spa. The area for stretching was pretty small and there weren't enough mattresses (only 3 for a big gym!) for the customers.

The most expensive and at the same time worst shower experience in whole New Zealand! Some public toilets are cleaner than this... I am writing about the men's showers. In addition, the water was not hot at all, so you feel cold during the progress. No real pressure in the left cabin. No soap provided after you may use the toilets. At least the staff could have given the money back after I told them about it but...
