I’m a local been shopping at New World supermarket lots. Very disappointed with some of staff pulling their faces like they are not happy to works or it’s just not their place to be there. Recently, tonight I went for quick shopping and goes to self checkout. The lady standing there have she ever smile at all? I’m just queried? But mind you I still have my favourite person which is the lady wearing glasses with long hair she have got good hospitality for her customers. Always smile and have a warm welcome. Poor staff and unpleasant experience, price are also way higher. Saw a check out counter not serving anyone but the young boy had his head down pretending to be busy. Maybe you guys are hiring too many people for night time. Also your silly age system for alcohol do you check the kid’s ID because a mum is holding a kid and buying an alcohol? Don’t you look at the group of people who is shopping or just the two standing in front of you to pay? Perhaps staff needs to be educated.
