The motel was unassuming from the street but a real gem from the moment you check in at reception. Roger, the owner, was very engaging and welcoming and showed my wife and me to our room. And fresh milk was provided for a cuppa! The room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The king bed was comfortable, the water hot and there was Sky channel. Bonus!! Across the road was a supermarket and a servo. All this added up to better value for money than all the more expensive places we'd stayed on our road trip to date.|But the thing that went above and beyond for me was when I inadvertently left my vital medication in the room fridge. We had dropped the hire car off by the time I'd realised, and a taxi would have been needed to get back to the motel. When I contacted Roger he insisted on dropping the medication to me and wouldn't hear of me catching a taxi to collect it.|Seems nothing was too much trouble for Roger and Carol....

Soured an otherwise good experience. Please fix, I've never met any motel or hotel that capped out an air conditioner at such a low temperature in my life. The single unit is already no where near big enough to heat up the whole house, capping it at 21°C makes it useless, might as well get a wall heater from kmart, that would be better because it...
