A theme park or an amusement park is a place with attractions made up of rides, such as roller coasters and water rides. They usually contain a selection of different types of rides, along with shops, restaurants and other entertainment outlets. See the fact file below for more information about amusement parks. An Amusement Park is a place where people go on thrill rides, roller coasters, water rides, transport rides and rides that are gentler for children and/or older people. Amusement parks were started in Europe during the Middle Ages. They began as fairy and pleasure gardens. People would attend for fun, recreation and shopping. In 1894, Paul Boynton opened the world’s first modern amusement park. It was located in Chicago and was called “Paul Boynton’s Water Chutes”. It charged an admission to get into the enclosed park and used rides to draw people to it. In 1895, he also opened a park at Coney Island. In the late 1800s amusement parks started taking hold in the United States. Most amusement parks were built at the end of a trolley line. They usually had picinic areas, dance halls, restaurants, games and a few rides. They were immediately successful. They offered thrills and entertainment for a small price.

Its a good place to enjoy with family and kids ... atmosphere is nice and your time will pass once you enter . But now maximum rides not available.. everything is under maintenance for which price is cheap. No fooding counter available right now. Maybe within 6 months it will be completed with a new design and new looks, I believe. You can now just enjoy the peace & get some breeze there by paying 50 only. Kids 2 rides available.

Once upon a time this park used to have so many working rides. But now the ticket itself is stamped for only 4 rides. Out of three are functional. Rs. 100 to me seems a little too high for a govt. managed park. Staff is cooperative, but what can they do if the park itself is very poorly managed. Very few attendance even on a Sunday afternoon. The area reeks with the stench of a nearby drain canal. Being centrally located, most of the earnings probably comes from wedding receptions and functions like that. I hope the area is developed to provide a good place for kids to play and have fun, especially in present times, where most of them are glued to the screens.

Only if I could give 0 stars . Pure waste of money. This park is in shambles and completely worn out. There is nothing to see or enjoy here. Only 3 rides are working - water coaster, striking car and votex. Even these rides are in poor condition. Visitors will be welcomed by nasty drain smell and lot of mosquitos. For an entry fee of 100 rupees , only God knows where this money is being spent.there isn’t much crowd like it used to be several years ago. Now it is mostly deserted( visited on a Sunday morning). Hardly 20 people were there . Not worth it .

Ticket price as on dec 2018 is ₹150.Worst place to visit.Nothing is there.only some rides which are already in weak condition. No comfortable rides.Only 2 to 3 rides you love to ride.Haunted house is totally in worst condition, only sound game is there.Park quality is worst.I don't know why authority taking that much of money because they are not taking care of those plants. In evening you will find lots of mosquitoes there😀. Instead of spending ₹150 here go any where else to chill out.Othewise you will find your money value zero

It's currently known as BDA city centre. It's in very bad condition. Most of the rides are closed now. They charged ₹100 for three ride which is not worth it. Water body is filled with sewage water & smell from it is very bad. It makes it difficult to play near by area. If the wind flow opposite site it's hard to stand in the park itself. It's a place not to visit. Waste of money & time.
