So, I visited the JJT Park for the first time even though I've had many reasons to be there in the past but I couldn't due to one reason or another. However, I went to make an enquiry to see if we could use the place for a hangout in December and I was absolutely impressed with what I saw. From the gate I could feel some level of safety and peace. I walked into it and saw different people, individuals and groups, having fun, taking pictures, playing games and enjoying life. The place was so calm and peaceful. Everyone doing their own thing. Another time, I decided to visit there again and this time, I sat down quietly and was just observing everything that was going on. I took a walk around, took some really nice pictures, took pictures with some To-Be couples who had come around for their PRE-WEDDING shoots. I visited the canteen inside the park at some point, got some iced cream, jollof rice and water. It was all a beautiful experience put together. The atmosphere is giving and you also get to meet a lot of people and talk. I will recommend it to you. You can visit on your own or as a group. You can have a party or group hangout there. You can choose to use the mat and stay on the floor or if you guys are looking for more comfort and to avoid the sun, you can actually book their Plumbago Gazebo special spaces, they have chairs inside them already. One takes 20 people, another takes 40 people, they have one that takes 60 people and so on.... If you need more information, reach out and I can also share the manager's contact with you so you can make enquiries just in case you can't visit physically. But I recommend it.

As always I'd start with parking. It's free if you arrive on time but if you have to park inside its "N500". If you park at the park 🤭 nearby then its N200 + a long walk. Suffice to say, parking wasn't in the plans. The use of a nose mask is enforced. Entry is free however no glassware is allowed into the park. It's logical for the environment. Parks should be secure and safe. The Eyo bridge is one of the first artifacts you notice. It's interesting and follows the Lagos theme the park has. However some of the slats are broken so you'd likely not want to walk through. As a safety precaution, there should be caution tape around it. There is also an artifact featuring the faces of the 3 individuals whom the park is named after. It is surrounded by African flags however the flags weren't flying when I visited. There is a fountain as well but it wasn't on. Other areas include a mini zoo with parrots, playground for kids, cabanas with chairs, 3 toilets and a place where you can buy food. There is free WiFi but I didn't try for it since its cos of privacy concerns seeing as it's a public network. The toilets were okay, but could be cleaner. I'd also like it if there were security patrols occasionally. The security go around shortly before 6pm to alert people its closing time understandably, however, it would be nice if it were well lit and secure enough to stay open longer. All in all a very nice place to relax, talk, meet, or even have a little party.

Usually passing through the Park and most times I see it filled with people but never had any reason to be inside the Park. But today I decided to purposely go there and see for myself and Mehn!!! it was absolutely an amazing experience 💯 The PARK is Highly Recommended by all means for any hangout or relaxation of any kind. The environment is very clean, highly secured & safe, children’s playground & friendly, big chessboard game ,a parrot 🦜 to talk to, sitting areas under shelter Incase of rain or too much sun, absolutely picture perfect views, easy to locate either by private or public transport because it’s just by the House Of Assembly entrance behind Alausa Secretariat. POV: I totally had a great time and for people like me that enjoy not too much crowd should visit on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and the { PARK CLOSE by 6pm } The JJT PARK is a place that all Local Government in Lagos should have because with such place around you, you will spend less and have a place to just sit down, relax with friends & family or just alone and just enjoy life as it is… PS: BIG UP’s TO LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT FOR THE INCREDIBLE PARK & HOPE TO SEE MORE AROUND LAGOS 🌳🖤💯🙏🏽👍🏽

This place has an amazing natural scenery. Facts to know:- When you are 10 and more people that intends going there, you have to pay a sum of ₦10,000. This money is to be paid with your Tax Payer ID. The payment will be made at the entrance of the park. (I do not know if payment can be made at the Bank) This payment of ₦10,000 is just for access to the park, and not for the huts/tents. Meaning, you would have to come with a sort of mat or something to spread on the ground. The least amount for tent usage, as at now, and as I know, is ₦40,000. (i.e. occupying the tent). It cost ₦1,000 to rent a mat at the park. The mat is quite large. Digital Camera(s) is not allowed. I think you have to pay to get it in. Food is not sold in the park. You are jot paying to get your food in the park. Glass bottle of drink is not allowed. Fun facts. There are sculptures that makes for a whole new picture experience. There are trees that provide large shade area across the park. There are enough space to park your cars. There is a large cage with quite a lot of beautiful parrots. The toilets are clean. Okay. That will be all. Enjoy and have fun!!😌🌻

It was a lovely outing and as usual it felt good to visit the park and relax. Entrance is FREE. Coming with a professional photographer attracts fees, but you can take photos with your phone or tablets The park is well maintained, though some huts need more comfy chairs and tables. There are restrooms to use. The waterfall was unfunctional when I visited. You can stay as long as you wish. Hold meetings there. If you wish to have more seats, you will pay for the seats. I enjoyed reading the various parts of lagos on the marbled status. There are food vendors at the restaurant building. Due to renovation happening there, you will need to place an order and take your food to a hut. You can order food for take-out. Photos hoot can occur taking advantage of the greeny fields and setups in the park. There is children's playground with equipment for play. I recommend it here for cooling over, thinking over important things, relaxing, meeting for a few people, family hangout, picnic, and more. My mum and I had a good time the last time we visited.
