Gorgeous classic fjord sail-in, whatever the weather it never let's you down. We had 24 degrees, clear sky and snow on the tops.
Everybody went ashore to picnic or have an adventure. The rib boats and kayaks were especially popular.
People tried to swim in the freezing but glass clear waters, that didn't seem especially wise but they tried.
The picnic grounds and shoreline was crowded but everyone was having a great time.
We really enjoyed watching the robot grass cutter scuttling around independently, making a random but interesting job of keeping the grass tidy.
MSC VIRTUOSA had a barbeque on the shore which was popular and they did a great job of clearing up after, it was as though they had never been there.
Flam never disappoints, with it's glorious beauty and dramatic skyline, it is a classic dream Norwegian...

You know how some people truly love what they do and go above and beyond to help — while others, well… not so much? That was exactly the case here. One curly-haired lady in the first queue just brushed us off with no interest at all. But then we got lucky — the woman at the second desk was kind, helpful, and absolutely charming.
Thanks to her, we ended up having an incredible time on the scenic train ride and the zipline adventure — unforgettable!

Read moreThe Flåm Visitor Center demonstrated a complete lack of willingness to assist tourists, which is particularly disappointing for a visitor center. A member of my party was recently in an accident and required a wheelchair. Not only did the staff refuse to let her use or rent one, but they also made no effort to find a solution. When we asked what activities were available for someone unable to walk or use a wheelchair, the staff member simply responded, "nothing."
