This place was a really pleasant surprise, right in front of the harbour where the ferries dock. The building used to be a strategic place for the Nazis in their invasion of Norway, which, itself, is already a treat for any history buff.
The exposition is really well crafted, accounting for many details of the Norwegian resistance against the Third Reich. It is an obligatory stop for anyone interested in knowing more about WWII in Scandinavia.
I advise you not to miss the guided tour. Our guide, August, was really knowledgeable and kind, offering us a complete and in depth tour of the museum in english. The tour is especially important for non-norwegian speaking tourists, since most of the information in the museum is not avaliable in English.
