Nice edifice with beautiful history about it. It's a must in your visit to Tønsberg.
When I was there, there was organised a viking-arch competition, and I think that people of the city normally organise interesting events in the park down the edifice.
There is a beautiful landscape of Tønsberg from the tower and the park below its, and the entrance is free.
It's quiet sad, but the inside of the tower is a little bit boring, 'cause is made thinking on kids, with some playables and toys, so a little bit boring for me, but if you travel with kids it can be a good place also.
