Access to Diana’s Viewpoint goes through a hotel, but it’s important to know that the viewpoint itself is not hotel property and entrance is free. Don’t feel shy about visiting! It’s free.

You can park your car along the roadside just before the hotel entrance. Then simply walk through the hotel reception. If you’re asked about your visit, just say you’re going “only to the viewpoint” – the staff are used to this and will kindly show you the way.

You’ll walk through the hotel garden, passing by a beautiful pool area, and shortly arrive at the viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

We had the pleasure of visiting Diana’s Viewpoint during our stay at the stunning Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort. This iconic spot within the hotel offers absolutely breathtaking views over the canyon.

The viewpoint point is in a hotel. The hotel charges 25 OMR just to go inside! But it is not necessary to pay this much. Just take a right turn before you arrive at the hotel complex. There's a viewpoint with the same view and absolutely free and even with a little coffee truck. It is barely 100m away from the hotel, literally a 20 second drive.
