One of the best experiences of my life. Very well organized and coordinated tour. I was struggling to book on their website so they allowed me to reserve two spots via WhatsApp and pay when I got to the meeting point. Communication and Instructions before the tour were very clear so it was very easy to find everything . When got to the meeting point (no hotel pick up), they were super friendly and spoke fluent English . They also sold waterproof phone cases which were very useful l when jumping into the water. Our guide Ishmael was very kind and friendly and fluent in English and Spanish. He gave us a lot of info while we were on the way to the sea lions and checked in on us occasionally)to see that no one is sick). We saw birds, penguins , sea lions and jelly fish along the day (there were no jelly fish in the area of swimming with the sea lions). They provided us wetsuit and safe vest and we were able to jump into the water. We got the chance to swim with the sea lions for 22 minutes which I thought was enough (take in mind that the water is not warm and you need to keep your self moving the entire time). The sea lions were curious and somewhat friendly . They came close to check us but not too close . No one was attacked or hurt during the trip. The way back was little bit hard for me as I experienced sea sickness. They also provided us a bag with water and snacks on the way back which was unexpected and very appreciated. Once in a lifetime activity. If you are lima , you should defiantly go and swim with the sea lions and use Mar...
Read moreGreat little excursion in LIma Peru - total time - about 2.5 hours by boat -a small boat takes you out to a larger boat that can handle the waves better. Then a nice tour out past some islands, each with a story -one was a old prison similar to Alcatraz and another island had there Presidents summer vacation home. Also some fisheries, and very small fishing boats. I saw quite a number of various wildlife (Penguins, etc). Finally we reached the Sea Lions -and you put wetsuits, and a different life jacket (not mandatory to swim) and then follow the guide into the water with some instructions. It is very noisy as the lions are always squawking and playing with each. I've attached some pics and a short video of the experience. They had both english and spanish guides on my tour. Most in the boat spoke english. One thing is if you have an affinity to get seasick easily you might want to pass or take Gravel before hand. There were 20 people on the boat -one lady was sick whole time -they gave her a bag (but she still jumped into the water with the sea lions! -she wouldn't miss it ---don't stare at your phone but the horizon...
Read moreI strongly recommend avoiding this tour company. While there are many operators offering trips to see sea lions and penguins, this one falls short in multiple areas. The booking process was chaotic and unprofessional. I initially confirmed my reservation with Scarlett over WhatsApp, providing all the required details. Despite this, less than 12 hours before the excursion, she asked me to confirm again and canceled my booking when I didn’t respond immediately, claiming the boat was now full. This unnecessary stress was compounded by misleading communication, as I was later told I could still join because there would be two boats—there wasn’t.
The boat was overcrowded, and the entire process felt poorly managed. They only accept cash, which raises questions, especially when they refused to let me book online. On the bright side, the crew on board was friendly, and we did see penguins and sea lions, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. However, there are far better and more organized options available for this type of tour in Peru. Avoid this company if you want a...
