Don Giuseppe — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Honestly, I understand this place is such a famous place because it's supposed to be a Historic and Iconic place. Probably, they are living by their old fame and commercial mainstream youtubers and social media.

I like the Pan con Huevera, but their Pan con Pejerrey it's not the Callao's Pan con Pejerrey at all. The owner is italian, ok. So it's that fusion? No. This bread with kingfish is just a bread with a lot of flour (tempura Style maybe?), and maybe You find 1 or 2 super tiny fishes with a boiled taste...

Onions? Fresh if You are lucky, and sometimes the exacto amount of sal and lime depends on how many clientes they have.

Besides the fact that You have to wait a LOT to get a sit, they do want you to leave asap.

Awesome place to come get your fix of pan con pejerrey, hueveras and chicharrón. So far this has to be the best pan con pejerrey I’ve had in Peru. We usually go to pucusana to get some really good pan con pejerrey but we are so glad to have found this place which is about 1hr closer to us now. Su ají apenas pica, la salsa tártara muy rala, la chicha morada demasiado dulce, el sándwich de jamón demasiado salado, el sándwich de pejerey rescatable por fuera aunque el centro se mantenía muy suave y blanco, se pidió sándwich de huevera de bonito pero sabemos que la huevera de bonito es media rojiza y no blanca. La atención por parte de las meseras deja mucho que desear, te quitan la carta de arranque sin pedirla por favor y su atención es toda apurada, muy por el contrario la atención del mismo Don Giussepi, bastante atenta, quizás una pequeña interacción con el cliente no estaría demás. El local ya para los años que tiene debió tener proyección de ampliación o expansión pero nada, su clientela se queda esperando afuera sus 20' aproximados. Y finalmente si pagan con tarjeta de crédito preparen su 5% más. Finalmente, esto es lo malo cuando salir notas y reportajes en medios de comunicación hacen que el negocio gire en favor a la desmejora que a la proyección, como que ya se sienten líderes inalcanzables y que ya no hay porque...
