The place is full of the cultural and ethnicity of mindanao. The place has become the attraction for the local diversity of the Philippines. It is not just a park but also a location for learning the history and diversity of colorful country. I love to witness the tribal performance locals have offered. I saw how this country has good and joyful people. It's not just people but also the houses signifies the true abundance of this country with their natural materials which comes from the natural resources of the area. They have preserved the culture and represent the beauty of our past. I love the musical sound given by the different tribes in Mindanao. This location signifies that even though we have differences, we can still live in the world with peace and understanding. History has made us what we are right now and this has to be given emphasis to the cities in our country. Thanks to Davao, they have the ability to show this kind of parks to people not just locals but also to tourists as well. I salute this city for they have offered this kind of attraction not only for picture taking but also people get informed with the history of our nation.

A good place for a morning stroll or jogging. Security is not an issue here as there are police officers or even soldiers patrolling on every nook of the park. There's a lot of greenery and the last time i've visited, there's a skate park at the back portion of the park where you can see a lot of kids skating and doing tricks. There are also bikes and skateshoes for rent on the center of the park for you to use on their specified area. Near the seashore side are the food stalls so food is not an issue on this park. Im not sure if fishing or bringing pets in here is allowed though. Personally. I wouldnt recommend visiting the park in the afternoon or at night as wind from the sea gets blows to the park at this time, which is very salty and sometimes has a weird smell to it.

Magsaysay Park is a very fun and therapeutic place to be because there's a seaside, small forests and a big space. I have been here a couple of times to hangout, exercise and have dance practices. Kids and adults can have fun here because there are facilities to let you rent a bike and there are also small shops to buy food or snacks and there's also a small chapel which is located on the seaside. Everywhere there is a trash bin so it's clean and tidy and there's also restrooms at the north and south part of the park. You can also bring a private vehicle here and park inside. This place also shows the history of the city that's why it's a good public park. It's busy mostly on weekends so if you don't want it to be too crowded then go on weekdays.

For nearby places, there are a lot of small malls and shops outside the park which you can visit. Also it's near ChinaTown that's why it's a bit busy here.

For transportation, there are buses, jeepneys, tricycles and taxis so it won't be difficult to find transportation here.

All in all, my experience here was great and memorable. I highly...

This park is "subok na sa masa" from student to couples and to families. The view was made brilliant by the nearby sea. Here you can see students or group of young people rehearsing dance choreography, couples chatting and eating and families having quality time. The government put a wide circular pavement for roller skate lovers and offers renting of roller shoes to some who would like to try also bicycle for rent to wander around while cycling. This park is rich in fresh air thanks to the big trees in it and the breeze of the coast. And after your relaxation in the park outside its vicinity you can enjoy refreshments and fill your tummies with durian (the king of fruits) wherein the cityis famous for. If you are commuting it has many access of different jeepney routes, also a walking distance to China Town also known as Uyanguren. If I asked to suggest they could pump saltwater in the nearby sea to maintain comfort rooms in order and clean because I noticed toilets there lacked of water. But all in all i give 4 stars for being FREE, EASY ACCESS, NATURE CONTENTS...
