Evergreen Hotel — Hotel in Davao City

Booked through a tour guide referred by my friend, I find this hotel very clean, nice spacious room & friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of everything, near the wharf going to hof gorei resort in Samal Island, near a shopping center in fact it's just in the ground floor & the next building. It's also near banks, & big department store called nccc, the pomelo & durian stalls is just at the back of the hotel. My only problem is the stairs going up to the hotel, I think it's 42 steps all in all, if I'm not mistaken but that's not a big issue for me and one more thing, no nightlife in this area since mostly all stores closes at 6 in the evening, You have to go some place like the Venue or Damosa Gateway by jeep or taxi, no problem at all. We're happy with our stay at Evergreen Hotel...

The staff were friendly but couldn't even go out to buy tea bags over the 4 days that we spent here. The food was poor and we only ate here once when we got marooned by flooded roads outside.
