Hari Royale Suites — Hotel in Davao City

My stay at this hotel was nothing but excellent. The location was convenient, staff was professional, room was luxurious even for a budget hotel, and the overall experience was great!||||The hotel is located at a very convenient location; Cecil's (BEST BAQUIRON EVER) is just next door, McDonald's across the street and a 24 hour convenience store nearby. Planning to go to Samal or leave the Philippine Economic Zone? The port is literally 3 blocks straight. The fancy restaurants and Roxas Boulevard is just one 10 minute taxi away too. It can't get any more convenient than this! ||||The staff (especially the spa therapists) were very professional and hospitable. I'd suggest getting the signature massage if you're planning to get a massage. Its a mix between swedish, Thai and ??? it was GOOD!||||The room was nice and luxurious even for a budget hotel. The beds were huge and there were a lot of pillows. Air conditioner has a remote so its very convenient. The room was spacious too. The views offers you a glimpse into Davao's metro and its Chinese history.||||Overall I had a great experience with my friends on our short but memorable Davao vacation and this hotel was a huge part of that experience. I'd suggest this hotel to anyone going to Davao. 11 out of 10. Would sleep here...

One of the best decisions we had since 2009 was to be in this hotel. Staff are helpful and smiling, plus they are very willing to help your needs. In this hotel are known to be the "hot choco" family, and they're so kind to prepare for hot water for us. ||||The rooms are very clean and always smells good. Oh.. love their beds and pillows, you really are comforted after a long busy day in town. Location is really at the heart of the center, it's a 5 minute walk from the Gaisano Mall where you can do your shopping and fill your empty tummy with delicious and affordable food. Very close to a hospital, convenience store and easy to grab a taxi. However, the only downside is that the church bell across the street. Not so ideal to hear esp when you want to sleep longer and treat yourself like sleeping beauty. But over all, very good accommodation, safe and secure place. ||||I should not forget to mention their 5 star service of their hotel massage spa, it's a must to experience when staying in this hotel with quality service--go for the signature massage! And when I crave for a chocolate moist, I just give a ring to the reception and Cecil's restaurant is there to serve you. Lekker! ||Looking forward to be back in this hotel sometime...

Our corporate office is based in Manila but a few times a year, we hold our business meeting in Davao City. Although our office allows us to have our choice of hotels, the four of us in a group of more than 10 always choose the less expensive Hari Royale Suites ever since we first stayed there in 2010. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedsheets and towels are clean, the beds are comfortable, the hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect for us because our Davao office is just a few kilometers away. The downside is that the food in the restaurant on the ground floor is only for snacks/merienda. But if you get hungry, just across it is McDo. There are also a number of simple eateries in the vicinity. And across the other side of the hotel is the church. A walking distance away is a convenience store. We feel so "at home" and safe in this hotel . The concierge desk/counter is just beside the elevator, so he gets to see everyone who enters and leaves the hotel. That makes us feel safe and secure. And because we are already "suki", we are sometimes allowed to have late check out...
