Jaro plaza has the old Jaro Belfry. Aside from that there's pretty nothing much to see here.
This place used to have sellers of wares amd plants but since the pandemic began, they dissappeared.
This place was, for lack of a better term, mismanaged. Decades of neglect and poor planning led to disrepair of roads, play ground, and facilities. This used to have a mini zoo and aquarium.
This place also houses a monument for war veterans.
Too many buildings inside the Jaro plaza ruined this place.
The current (2022) developments and rehab seems to bring promise to its improvement however the city is sadly cutting down decades old trees that used to provide pedestrians with shade and cover.
Jaro plaza used to be famous during Jaro fiesta. There will be lots of wares and park amusement rides. However money collected from those events didnt end up beautifying the place - quite the opposite.

I took a walk for me to see every corner of the Plaza and there I saw the children's playground, the monument of WWII Ilonggo veterans, Graciano Lopez Jaena mini park and monument, the bandstand and the gym. In my view, the Jaro Plaza still needs improvement. I noticed that the cause of vandalism had been removed already due to the eye-opener by reporter on national television last National Heroes Day re: vandalism on the monument of Graciano Lopez Jaena. On the otherhand, during night time, the Jaro Plaza is so dark that made me scared when I passed by to wait for a ride going to my hotel.
