i went there yesterday to have lunch today And was dissapointed because of the terrible service one of the crew has shown me and my wife. she asked us if it was the two of us only then i said yes, then she guided us into this table where it had lots of traffic so i said i did not want to sit there, when i pointed to another table and asked if it is available she said no, without hesitation to lead us into another table so i pointed to the table at the corner and she gave us attitude, rasing her eyebrows and slamming the chairs to the table, wiped the table with tissue only, when she was setting the place mat the plate was on top sliding on the dirty table while giving me that attitude, while she was away after getting my name and number me and my wife was talking about the table near the aquarium since it seemed to be one of the highlights of the cafe, she stopped in front of me and held the log sheet while rasing her eyebrows, we was not even talking to her, me and my wife are respected in our field of work she is a lawyer in your city and i come to visit to take her stress of her job, she asked the waitress again politely if you had some tables at the back near the exotic area and again she said WALA, even if there was available tables there. i do commend the waiter that took our orders and served our food. overall everything was nice, the place, the ambiance, music the food, im just not satisfied on how we was treated today i hope this gets addressed properly. sayang ung business nyo if you have that kind of...
Read moreI've found it. After visiting dozens of islands and cities throughout the country, I've finally found the worst restaurant in the Philippines.
Even ignoring the various too-small aquariums and terrariums filled with lonely, miserable, and sometimes dead animals, the food here was truly appalling. To say the pesto in the pesto pasta tasted like it came from a can is unfair, since canned pesto can conceivably taste good, in contrast to this drek. The chicken was dry and undercooked; I seriously would not be surprised if I get salmonella from it, as other reviwers have. The nachos were a joke, literally just some chips with dip, and the Pizza burgers were sauce dripping abominations. Italy and Mexico should declare war for this gratuitous butchering of their cuisines.
Nothing here was even remotely edible. It's one of the only times in my life I simply refused to eat the food I paid for, for the sake of my health and taste buds. And pay I did, 1000 pesos for veritable garbage, 10% service fee included of course!
Here we have a restaurant happy to coast on its dumb (and exploitative) zoo theme without putting any effort into taste or quality. I'm genuinly astounded this has over 4.5 on google reviews. Don't ignore the bad ones, this place is indeed as bad as they say, and I can confidently say I'll never forget it, for all the...
Read moreAquarium Cafe & Lounge was one of the restaurants I was very excited to experience, because of the aquariums of fishes and other sea creatures and also reptiles! I and my friends agreed to have a dinner there. I would suggest that you call for a reservation, as they are always full even on weekdays on a specified meal time of the day like lunch and dinner, but sometimes the time in between meals that we considered snack time might be the best time to go there, as there are less people. Just a reminder: always come on time if you have a reservation. I thought that the only thing that lures people to the resto is their main attraction, but not until you experience their food. It was so good! I would definitely go back not only because of their main attraction, but also because of their food. You can start with baby back ribs if it’s your first time and you don’t know what to pick on the menu. I haven’t tried their milk tea yet, as it was sold out I believed. It might mean that it’s good too, but next time we will find out. Oh, and they also have a nice staff! And it completes your whole experience...
