It is an open field where people can play outdoor games under the raging sun. The ground can get muddy and wet after a rain so better avoid your white pants when you're gonna go this way. You can see people jogging around it, playing Frisbee, soccer and the occasional dates. The place is also where you will find the fertility tree, the Carillion tower and the Maryang Fountain. Three dorms, the SU building, DL Umali and the College of Veterinary surrounds the park. The place is also near the cheap karinderia behind the YMCA building.

Freedom Park is a wide oval area inside ULPB, a grassy land used for multifarious activities such as assembly grounds or sports activities like soccer. Around the perimeter are marble seats to rest just like regular park. It is muddy during rainy season, although compensated by a covered grassland. It is accessible from Men's Dorm on the right side, and Baker Hall on the left side. The park is wide, around 1 km in diameter on both sides.

Popular place for UPLB students, staff & visitors to relax and unwind. There is even a 711 and carabao milk outlet offering refreshments. It's also ideal for jogging or just plain walking around. This is the venue of university's annual fair held every February, cancelled this year due to the pandemic. Presently, prolonged stay here is prohibited and the security officers politely ask visitors to leave.

Nice place to go biking and running. While your there don't forget to pass by the local store - milka krem. I just love the pastillas and the milk chocolate made from carabao's milk. Perfect place for soul searching. You could just sit under a tree or to any benches strategically placed for your comfort and just listen to your favorite music. You will never notice how fast time passes you by.

Well kept, free, open, green, serene, tranquil place to at least walk around. (due to pandemic, there may be restrictions against just sitting around. UPLB management and executives insist that you must not be seen as standing-by, "tambay" only but doing exercise, at the very least walking).
