Starbucks Vega Arcade UPLB — Restaurant in Los Baños

this is so far the lousiest starbucks branch when it comes to coffee quality. they cosistently serve coffee with an ash flavor (could be from dirty machine or portafilter). the staff are not astute - i asked for a short double latte, i dont think the cashier knew that double meant two shots, she punched in one shot; also, another time i asked how many shots for a short flatwhite and was told it was one shot when starbucks standard is two shots. i was also served a latte that was watery. seems like they are poorly trained here.

Food and drinks are fine. Previously it was relatively cold in Starbucks. But these days (2023), the temperature is a little uncomfortable particularly when there are many customers inside. The service is slow and perhaps as a penalty for respectfully inquiring about my order, the crew "missed" the count of my order - only one macadamia cookie was included in my "to go" order even though I ordered and paid for two together with some other food items (...never got that other macadamia cookie,...

Great coffee as always and I like it that they don't give plastic straws.. however since it seems to be an issue for many Filipinos they may want to consider alternatives such as bamboo or paper straw. Sometimes you have to remind them that for non-take away normal cups can be used and the A/C is way too cold but overall great (crowded) place with very friendly staff! No wifi makes it harder to work but...
