Someone seemingly connected to this shop (the young man) is throwing massive stones, rocks, lumps of wood at stray dogs. We were sat there this evening and there was a sleeping pregnant dog on the beach. What we thought was a coconut falling from a try was in fact a man throwing stones. He hit it repeatedly with varying sized rocks. Then when she ran away he chased others causing direct hits! The dogs were screeching. He did this repeatedly this eve. If you give a dam about their treatment avoid this shop and shop elsewhere. There were loads of reasonable priced shops just 100m...

This beach used to be my favourite hidden gem on Panglao island. Amazing clear water, corals and marine life and friendly locals, it used to be a perfect destination for a casual day of snorkeling/freediving. They even have a lot of free parking!

Unfortunately, things have changed. Now, government officials show up every day charging an environmental fee to any tourist who wants to enjoy this spot.

The place is still beautiful, but the new fee is really disappointing and feels like a scam. I hope the authorities reconsider this decision so the beach can go back to being the great spot...

My favorite beach in Panglao. Alona is over crowded and the corals are smashed by mass tourism. This beach however is with few people only and corals are amazing. Rich colourful fish scenery. Please start swimming from the beach and do not stand on the fragile corals. Please keep the secret place clean. I'm coming there every year. Local fishermen or rather lazy roster farmers are very cool people to chat with. Sometimes they have smoked fish or tuba - coconut...

Please don't hurt the poor stray dogs. If you can't be friendly to them, at least just let them wander around peacefully. Don't throw stones at them.😢 They just need love. Anyway: -No entrance/parking fee. -White sand but there are loose corals and coarse stones so wear your beach shoes. -A few meters away and I saw a lot of healthy corals and fishes in them. I even saw 1 young lion fish. -Noisy karaoke. -The stray dogs are so excited to meet people.
