Mario Dive Resort — Hotel in Panglao

😊: Staff are as good as all the reviews. ANN is an angel. Got lots of info from her - most impressive was that the employees LIKE working there, are well-treated, given freedom to work - and it shows. Every single employee - reception (ANN), housekeeping, drivers, restaurant - all were just wonderful. Clean as a whistle. Comfy bed. Great shower, loads of hot water. Pool, pool table, ping pong, darts. Breakfast was good. Variety of stuff and they added fruit variety after we suggested more than one fruit per day. Smoothies were great. Service, James et al, excellent. Had lunch and dinner here, too sometimes. All went the extra mile. We stayed for 1 week so we gave them many chances! Free shuttles, scooters, arranged boat, did everything for us.. 😢: Soups are HUGE. Way too much for 1. Never mentioned this to Ann. Did not see any clues about this - the photo in menu does not give you any idea. Soups were nice though! Dart board is nice touch but is hurt by location. Are you looking for a place to stay that has 5 start resort service but not all the stuffiness of a 5 star hotel or price? That is Mario Dive Resort. Stayed here for 2 nights and they have been nothing short of amazing. The facility itself is not five start quality. The rug is looking old some minor maintenance issues in the bathroom. Again this is not the ritz so don't expect it to be. The facility is extremely clean and the staff... the staff is amazing. From our two night stay I have never been to a hotel with a good service. I had a thorn stuck in my foot and needed a doctor to remove it. The manager called the doctors office arranged the appointment. She even came the doctors office with me to ensure we got in. They even shuttled us around for free. They did our laundry and were completely flexible in accommodation our change of plan that our children were joining us. We stayed in Mario dive resort for five nights. ||The hotel is very comfortable for families with children, has a very good swimming pool and maintains high standards of cleanness across the full resort. A short walk through a quiet village, and you get to Momo Beach where there are good coral gardens and there are several dive sites nearby. We took their shuttle bus to go to white sand beaches on the other side of the island. ||The key thing about this hotel is their staff and the great service they provide. The whole team is super helpful and was happy to assist us with any requirements.
