Escapada Seaside Hotel — Hotel in Panglao

Great area for snorkeling. They rent out snorkeling masks and fins. You don't even have to go far out to see great assortment of fish. It's really that amazing! Alex, the Russian who runs the place, is a gracious host and a great cook. The place is located in a more residential side of Momo Beach, so do not expect a nice clean beach with the awesome gradient beach line, like the ones found on the Bohol Beach Club side. The place is also very basic but it is cheap, so there's really not much to complain about (you get what you pay for, basically). BUT we do hope that the facilities still improve and the woman who cooks breakfast learns how to cook better scrambled eggs. If you're coming over: I suggest maybe spend a day and a half here, do some snorkeling before you head to other parts of the island (Alona and Bohol Beach...

Stayed here for 5 nights while in Panglao. Lovely double room with aircon, use of a terrace and kitchen and property right on the beach. The owner, Alex, can help book tours and has motorcycles for hire as an easy way to explore the island and travel the 20mins to the more popular Alona beach. He also cooks meals as needed and has a bar with cold drinks. Although more remote then other places in Panglao it is great value for a lovely quiet few days...
