Nothing beats OG— As a person who loves nostalgia, Magnolia Kiosk is giving me exactly what I want—the Pinoy 90s vibe! This place offers a variety of “lutong-bahay” or home-cooked dishes and other Filipino delicacies, although their menu differs daily. They also serve cold desserts. Some of which are subject to availability like the brazo de mercedes I’ve been wanting to try. Nindot for lunch and merienda. For the same reason, the place operates at full capacity during peak hours. Locals eat here because (1) food tastes good, and (2) it’s budget-friendly. Simply put, sulit kaayo. 🤤👌🏻 When visiting Tagum, you certainly have to include Magnolia Kiosk (and the S&K Merchandise store in front) on your list. :)

It's one of the OLDEST establishments in Tagum City! 50 years to be exact. They received an award for this. You'd expect 70s or 80s vibes, which take you back in time. 'Yung tables and chairs look like the cafeteria-type. Around 17 tables are available. They have several ice cream options. Lots of flavors to choose from. They also serve kakanins and other delicacies like pastries and cakes. One thing I only dislike in this establishment is that they don't allow pets. Although that's their right as the owners, but they unnecessarily added that "not all people like pets." Di ko gets ba't pa kailangan sabihin 'yan. ☹️ But I would still recommend, 4/5 ☺️

Best Halo-Halo in town they say? Yes definitely, even to go (as its obvious in the picture). Even though it might not look from the out- and inside but this kiosk is an institution in Tagum City. We will be back!
