Haven Campsite Liwliwa is a campsite right next to Liwliwa Beach along the Zambales coast facing the West Philippines Sea. It offers varying degrees of camping experiences from traditional beach camping, where you pitch your tents, to glamping, where you stay in airconditioned, teepee-shaped rooms. In between that are kubo-like, non-airconditioned huts or air-conditioned family rooms travelers may rent. The property connects directly to the Liwliwa Beach, a surfing spot that hosts competitions for pros and ethusiasts while providing a safe terrain for beginners owing to the gentle slope of the beach. Take note however that the best time to visit is from February to April and September to December, as harsh weather may prevent surfers and swimmers from enjoying the beach. Haven Campsite has a nice staff and a hands-on owner who will attend to your needs. However, the common washrooms for men are not as ideal as that of the women’s—which may inconvenience campers. Most rooms offer free Filipino breakfast. This is usually garlic fried rice, fried egg, and choice of meat (e.g. longanisa, tapa, hotdog) served with instant coffee. This can be availed ar the Bibimbowl resto also situated within the property. Expect live music on Saturday nights—which can add to the nice viber or bother your sleep. Overall, the campsite is a nice place to chill and stay for a while away from the hustle of the metro.

Nice place for very basic lodging. You can choose either tents or teepees. Very friendly staff. One good thing about Zambales in general is that prices for commodities are seldom inflated, same goes for this place and its store. Activities you can do includes bonfires, kayaking, atv rentals. One thing you should remember tho is that this is a budget friendly campsite and things are well, very basic. You can have a lot of water for bathing by the well but not much pressure from the toilets and baths. Long lines when washing up is a common time killer. Ice never ran out of supply when we were there but make sure go bring lots of water.

The place is Instagrammable. However, I find the staff not so accommodating. They look like they don't want to be disturbed right from the day we checked in. We arrived at 11:00 am, left our bags in their Tiki bar and went outside to look for food while waiting for the 2:00pm check in time. When we checked in to the teepee room, it was so dirty. I mean with that amount of time, they could have at least swept the floor. No toilet paper provided, bring your own. Lots of mosquitoes, bring repellent. Breakfast is good though small in portion. We also tried the unli samgyup for 299, pork only and the bibimbowl at the korean resto within the vicinity. Free drinking water but bring your own tumbler. Shower water smells rusty because I guess it is close to the sea. If you're planning to have the bonfire, it's ₱350 but does not include anything and also you need to inform them ahead of time. They were late in setting up the bonfire, we requested for 7pm but it was set up at 8pm though the starry sky made up for it. Overall, I will come back to Liwliwa, but maybe off to a better place to stay in.

We had a great time at the beach here, this was the only campsite we could find where we could pitch a tent, it was a but of a walk from the area that most people were swimming in. The actual campsite was nice, they seemed to he doing a lot of construction though. The staff there weren’t super friendly, they didn’t even guide us to where we could camp. Toilets in the camping area are pretty gross, and the water smells like rust. But there are bathrooms in the area where the huts are that are much nicer. Check out was flexible, they allowed us to stay until 3pm which was great!

The place is simple and nice for a quiet overnight trip with friends or a loved one! The staff are accommodating and the owner is very humble as well. There are activities you can enjoy. The place is relaxing. There's a simple probinsya vibe that you just want to relax and feel the surrounding, nothing too fancy, just simple and relaxing. It's one of the best trip I've had in awhile. There's also free breakfast! For people wfh, there's wifi too.

Pros: -We stayed in a family room villa (good for 6pax) and sulit ung bayad for the space given to us. AC was cold enough. -with free simple breakfast so you dont need to think about it. -stunning sunset facing west kasi -with free water in water dispensers so hot and cold water is available -malinis naman ung lugar pero may ililinis pa -may acoustic night sila when we went there and the band was good. -ok naman ung mga staff when were there. -may mapaparkingan naman pero hindi ganun karami -hindi pa occupied ung kabilang lote so wala gaanong tao sa north side ng resort. (Went 18-19 Mar '23) Cons: -may amoy ung tubig na pang paligo (rusty and salty smell) so you need fresh water pang tooth brush. Otherwise, ang alat. -Yung mga hagdan nila wala sa standard ung gawa (rise and run) kaya ingat much kundi masakit sa shin -mga 2 mins walk from the beach so kung may kasamang senior baka mahirapan sila. -noise pollution is there because of the ATVs and videokes sa kapitbahay. So if bet mo ung super chill at serene place, the whole area may not be for you. -quite popular place to hang out so expect high volume of people. Especially sa south side ng resort. At 7am madami ng tao sa beach. The place was nice but the water quality needs to be improved.
