It's a pretty quaint place in the middle of Chapinero, the Plaza is well maintained and have a rather organized street fair with geeky stuff and used books. The main attraction is the Gothic church of Nuestra Señora de Lourdes built in 1875. However the plaza itself doesn't have many benches to sit and enjoy the view.

El templo se construyó en el mismo lugar donde se encontraba una capilla de techo pajizo construida por fray Antonio María Garzón.[2] El templo actual es de estilo neogótico-morisco, su construcción fue solicitada por el arzobispo Vicente Arbeláez al arquitecto bogotano Julián Lombana en 1875.[3]Es el símbolo más representativo de la localidad de Chapinero debido a su arquitectura, sus obras artísticas, y sus vitrales todo lo cual la convierte en uno de los puntos de referencia más importantes de la capital para propios y visitantes. Fue erigida en parroquia en 1903 y consagrada en 1904. El órgano tubular fue traído de Alemania en 1950. La imagen de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes fue coronada en 1988 por el cardenal Mario Rebollo Bravo.[2] Está ubicada en la Carrera 13 Nº 63-27 frente a la plaza homónima.

The square itself needs to be improved as it is very old and poorly maintained. The actual church on the square is worth a visit. Very nice architecture. Could not rate it more because they should be fixing everything from benches to the actual flooring.

Always fun to eat at places near by the Lourdes church. there's this place I remember as a young adult, seeing a huge pan of Paella 🥘 through a window... Guess what?! They make it daily! For COL$39,000 You get a takeout boxful of this yummy food.😋

Cute plaza in front of the old church. Surrounded by street market selling wares and crafts. There are also many restaurants with varying types of food available for a nice break from walking around.
