The aquarium itself was nice. Beautiful interior and amazing playground for kids. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with a young cashier. We went there spontaneously, not knowing the prices. Well, we paid 20€ per adult and 15 per child. Our son is under 2 years old, afterwards we were wondering why he has to pay that much. We checked the website and there was the note, that kids under 2 years have free entry. We went back but the answer was: we should have said this. Its our fault and we don’t get the money back. Additionally she referred to a note in Polish at the desk, that everything is explained there. I mean, everything inside the aquarium is written in English and German, but this note not. When I said, I can not speak this language, she said: „You are in Poland, welcome to Poland“. This is no customer friendly, such an unpolite and arrogant person I never met in my life! I wanted to talk to the boss and he gave us the money back, even her colleague at the entry door apologized for her. If it would have cost a few euros, I wouldn’t said sth. Well, watch out tourists, if she is not in mood, you have to pay more and it’s...
Read moreWe visited the aquarium with our family on a weekday. There are plenty of ads for it in the surrounding area, so it clearly attracts a lot of visitors – especially in summer, when you should expect it to be busy. When we arrived, there was quite a long line outside, but it moved quickly and we got inside within 5 to 10 minutes.
The entrance fee for a family is not exactly cheap – I’d describe the pricing as rather high overall. The aquarium has three floors, but the top one is more of a kids’ play area, which wasn’t particularly interesting. However, the ground floor and first floor feature large tanks with a good variety of animals and fish.
Still, the visit can easily be done in just 30 minutes – it’s definitely not an all-day activity, so plan accordingly. That said, you’ll get to see quite a lot of fascinating fish, and if you're not counting every penny, it can be a nice outing. The aquarium is located in a lively town full of restaurants and entertainment options, so it’s actually great for kids – just be prepared to spend quite a bit. If you're looking for something to do, this place is worth...
Read moreThe Aquarium itself is okay. You will be definitely satisfied with the visit and the variety of fishes present. But the organisation is utterly horrible. You cannot buy ticker online, so you need to stay in the huge line for many hours. There is also no limit to the tickets, so the crowd inside is horrible. The ventilation is not doing well in such conditions, so children scream and cry inside and I also had a headache after some time spent there. Because of the huge crowds, the line to the toilet is also huge. They should definitely have the daily limit of visitors. Or time slots for getting inside. Next to every Aquarium there are lots of people, so you need to stay in line to see the fish at every glass. The huge disappointment was also that the ticket is not for the day, but for one entrance. And there is no proper restaurant inside. You need to go out and then to restaurant, and after you cannot come back. So even with the amount of fishes in the Aquarium, it will be definitely one time experience for us and we will not reccomend it to...
