SKATE IN PARK — Attraction in Katowice

We went to see the indoor venue for our 4 year old scooter/ skateboard/ bike boy :-) We got to skater heaven :-) Milo absolutly loved his hour ride… and he went on a lot of ramps and rode nice lines. he also tried the foam bath jump. but the ramp is very steep and the buttom flat very short so the jump is very compressed… Overall you pay per hour… it was 20 (around 5 Euro), we were all alone on a monday from 20.00-21.00 during summer. The place itself has a cool oldschool vibe… it is an ex gymnastic gym and they left some original pieces… a lot of cool graffiti and usage of...

Grungy is the name - I guess an old warehouse or production place; very messy though. if you are a big fan of Trainspotting film you will love the place and the toilet :) Make sure to use one home before...

Sala niewielka, zimno, brudno, brudne, niepomalowane sciany (nie mam tu na myśli, graffiti ale ściany np. klatki schodowej) kurz, stare ławki, mimo głośników w widocznych miejscach nie było muzyki. Czekaliśmy z synem na otwarcie tego skateparku w Katowicach, nawet ścigaliśmy się dzisiaj kto pierwszy zobaczy jak jest w środku. Jak dla mnie rozczarowanie. Młodzież będzie przychodzić bo gdzieś muszą trenować - i wydaje się, że takie motto przyświecało projektantom i organizatorom...
