Visiting off peak is definitely a bonus, was mostly quiet but not a lot of things were open due to it being off season. Very clean, good value for money. The facilities were good and the actual water park itself was very fun and plenty for you to do. We booked a 3 hour slot on the day which was really cheap and easily done. I wouldn’t say you’d need longer than that really. Only problem we found, as two British people that were tourists and only visiting for the day with not a great deal of our usual things to take with you swimming we saw on the website you could rent towels, you could also purchase them in the shop but the lady who was in the shop didn’t speak a word of English and it was hard to justify spending over 200 PLN for 2 thin towels we weren’t going to use again. Tried to enter the sauna world only to be greeted by a very rude lady manning the desk and was very brusk with us when we didn’t understand a poster that was all in polish. I didn’t have my phone with me to try and translate as we were in a swimming pool area, and she said we had to pay for a towel, we couldn’t rent. Which is not what the website or this poster said when she frustratingly flipped it round when we didn’t understand. For whatever reason, you can’t rent only buy. Think this needs to be clearly stated if it’s not allowed anymore. Signage was pretty clear and if there wasn’t an English translation we could usually figure it out by the pictures but some weren’t so we just had to guess as a lot of the life guards also gave us very blank looks when we spoke broken English to them. It does seem like a very nice local leisure facility but was expecting perhaps a bit clearer guidelines regarding the towel situation. We had to air dry ourselves when getting changed which wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Annoyed we didn’t bring towels from the hotel now but just thought it would be fine as per...
Read moreMy two female friends and I visited Termy Maltańskie from London, on Friday the 31st for a day trip, and overall, we had a mixed experience. It's worth noting that we were the only people of colour there, which did make us feel a little conspicuous at times. However, this didn't detract from our enjoyment of the facilities themselves. The outdoor pool was a definite highlight. The water was beautifully hot and perfect for relaxing. The swing was a fun feature and made for some great pictures, although it was quite popular with children, so we didn't get a chance to try the slides. It seemed like a great area for families, but if you're looking for a quieter experience, it might be a bit hectic. Our biggest surprise, however, came when we discovered the spa area. It turned out to be a nudist spa! This wasn't something we were expecting, and it certainly added an unexpected twist to our visit. It's definitely something to be aware of if you're planning a visit, as it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Despite the surprise in the spa and the fact that we were the only people of colour there, we still had a pleasant day at Termy Maltańskie. The outdoor pool was fantastic, and the swing was a fun addition. If you're going primarily for the slides, be prepared for potential crowds. And definitely do your research beforehand regarding the spa area to avoid any surprises!
Lastly, the timer was the only real negative thing. We paid for 3 hours and after being busy in the changing rooms we had to wait until rooms were free. So that cut into our time. Had to pay for 15mins...
Read moreWe had an amazing family day here. You definitely need to get the all day ticket and it’s well worth it. We arrived at 10:15am and didn’t leave until 4:30pm and the kids never stopped. Go early to avoid queuing too long.... we queued about 15mins but my husband left around 2pm and he said the queue stretched right out of the building and down the car park!!! I read another review which said they let tickets holders in first but there wasn’t actually a way to book the aqua park online so maybe he was referring to the spa section. There are a couple of snack bars which aren’t the cheapest but we had no choice as didn’t have a picnic. You obviously can take food and drinks in as we saw lots of a families with coolboxes. There are deck chairs and sun loungers everywhere so you can set up ‘camp’ if you like....or there are lockers inside to leave all your stuff. You don’t need money once inside as food and drinks are all charged to you wristband and then you settle up in the way out. The locker system was easy enough to use but I do recommend you go on the website first (which has been translated to English) to read through everything. Overall it was the kids favourite day by far. There were only 2 slides they couldn’t go on which were for ages 14yrs and over. They loved everything else and it’s probably one of the best water parks we’ve been too. We were there on a day it was 33C but as there is an inside area also I imagine it’s great...
