Muzeum Artylerii Oddział Wojsk Lądowych — Attraction in Toruń

The host of this museum was so kind — I speak very little Polish and he did his best to explain the exhibits in English! Soft spoken but very very knowledgeable about even the most minute details. He may even allow you to handle several of the different artillery weapons! If you want to get the best out of the experience, I’d suggest going early when few are there and plan on talking to him a lot, especially if you are en English speaker (most signs are in Polish).

Sadly the armored vehicle park is closed off, you can see things well from a distance but the Tochka and Scud launchers are in rather sad shape! Still you can learn lots about the weapons inside the museum and see cutaway pieces of them too. A restored 2S1 is parked out front.

Bardzo fajne, a jednocześnie mało uczęszczane muzeum. Z racji tego, że byliśmy jedynymi odwiedzającymi w danej chwili, Pan z obsługi zrobił nam indywidualne zwiedzanie. Muszę przyznać, że zbiory są bardzo ciekawe i w wielu przypadkach unikatowe. Dodatkowo przewodnik dał do ręki i pozwolił przymierzyć się do paru broni.
