Absolutely TERRIBLY wasted time. Place that makes you feel bad and disabled. And no, not because you're really are, because of the following things:
First, after you enter a room - you have NO explanation of what to do AT ALL. Yes, AT ALL. And the most interesting here, that until you start the level pressing some buttons, you can't start understand what's going on. So yeah, first 5 minutes you're staying like a tree hearing "eeeee" noise after failing the round.
Second, and the most DISGUSTING - DIFFICULTY LEVELS and TIMERS. I can't even imagine who decided to set up those timers for each level of difficulty.
Let me describe 2 quests that I remembered the most:
Are you ready? On the EASIEST level you have only 90 seconds to answer CORRECTLY 5 questions. Important: those questions are not adequate for average person at all. One of them was: place music tones from lowest to highest and there were symbols which ONLY musician can understand (as I did).
ALL other questions were like "when 'random historic person was born" and "what is the maximum length of anaconda". HOW YOU SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT. And even knowing A BIGGER HALF me and friends didn't pass the quest for 10 attempts. TEN ATTEMPTS. It's about 20 MINUTES of your time. I remind you it's THE EASIEST LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY which is supposed for people who wanna HAVE FUN. Out of 90 seconds you need at least 15 for each one to just READ IT AND ANSWER OPTIONS. Which makes passing this quest literally IMPOSSIBLE without using chat gpt. AND EVEN WITH IT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PASS IT. YOU HAVE NO TIME.
When I first tried, I did the half and heard the noise of fail. I was like what? What happened, I was doing everything correctly. And here I realised: you have 30 SECONDS to pass it. After 7 attempts or so after I managed to get to other side, I heard sounds again. I was like what? And here I realised: you have 30 seconds FOR 2 PEOPLE TO GET THERE. THAT'S JUST IMPOSSIBLE TO DO FROM FIRST 20 ATTEMPTS if you haven't been there 1-2 times already. Those square things you move with are EXTREMELY SMALL and SLIPPERY. I failed about 8 times just SLIPPING there in attempts to catch balance. And yes, it's crucial to remind that I'm a physically strong person who have GREAT balance feel. See attached photos to see what room I'm talking about. Just hilarious.
Thirdly, the thing making this place completely UNBEARABLE: when you fail, you have to QUIT the room, close the door, open it AGAIN using the strip, close the door, press the button, then put all participants hands to the wall AND ONLY THEN you can try to pass level again which is IMPOSSIBLE to do in less than 15-20 attempts in MOST of rooms. This is of course made for making you pay more as this establishment makes you pay for every minute spent there.
And yeah, after I quit from there in 50 minutes or so being completely disappointed about all that - after I asked if I should pay for THAT - what do you think - I was offered to go without payment?
No, they gave me 10% discount for my unsatisfactoriness. 10% for 60 minutes of totally WAISTED time.
Let me summarise: if you wanna go there for struggling and feeling stpd being not - that's your place.
If you wanna go there once to have fun and joy - NEVER even think to waste your time as I did. That was the worst 30$ I've spent in my life.
UPD: just noticed establishment manager replied to my review, and I can surely say that everything that was said is a LIE.
Hopefully, I've just discovered I can attach not only photo but video as well - and now we'll see who's lying here.
As you can see on the video, on the display there is a sign "GAME" and you can see that red punching bags MOVING. Which clearly shows that game already STARTED.
Spent 60 minutes,...
Read moreCame here the other day, with my friend not knowing what to expect, but knowing we wanted to have fun (where in which we did indeed). We had made a reservation beforehand, which wasn't necessary for us as there weren't many people attendant at the time, but would definitely recommend booking a place in advance if you may think the place will be busy (for example on weekends). The staff was very nice and helped us with understanding the games and how everything works. Out of the 25 rooms that we tried to managed, we only accomplished 5 (in an hour and a half). Although It doesn't seem like a lot, the rooms were very difficult, even on their easiest level, they needed a lot of physical effort and it wasn't easy having to do some of the challanges with only two people under time pressure, so I think we did pretty good for that matter. Definitely recommend coming here with a bigger group as it will be easier and even more exciting but even if not you'll still surely enjoy your time at Tepfactor. Without a doubt...
Read moreGreat fun, but for fully able people only.
Plenty of rooms with a mix of activities to test your dexterity, strength, flair, general knowledge and intelligence - to he completed in limited amount of time (we had 3 hours). Some rooms are really difficult and physically challenging.
Nice and helpful staff. Facilities, such as lockers, changing rooms, showers and a bar, are available. You can order some snacks, pizza and drinks. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes (ideally tracksuit) and shoes (trainers work best).
I went with folks from work, we got to know each other quite well on many levels and had amazing time. It felt like a good workout too, a few bruises and aches were my souvenirs.
Beware, this is NOT a suitable activity for individuals with back/ legs/ hands injuries or serious health issues. In many rooms, ALL team members need to complete physical activities, in...
