The museum is located outside the center and near the central bus station. To access it you need to ring the bell and you'll be they'll open the door. The museum is divided into five rooms covering the history of silk and its production from the old age until present. In one of the rooms there is the specimen of silk worm in its different stages of life as egg, larva (in different stages), cocoon, and adult moth. The museum also exhibits different utensils used in silk industry besides presenting a timeline presentation of changes in silk industry in recent years with a more localized view. Moreover in the last section, a variety of final products like carpets, dresses and scarfs are presented with a slideshow of the silk usage in medical sciences. In the shop you can buy locally made souvenirs of with silk or local foods like nuts and wine. The staff were super friendly and the entrance is 2 euros.
