We were most impressed with our one-bedroom superior apartment. If you look at the building from above, online, you will see that a few of the rooms have massive rooftop balconies. Ours had probably the largest of these and it was south-facing, with a sea view. I think, from the fire escape route map in the kitchen, that slightly larger apartment 81 was our only realistic competitor for the largest balcony top spot. Ours more rectangular. Theirs less so.||We had four windows / doors into the outside space and all of these had electrically operated blackout blinds. The television had a few English language channels; Sky News, Sky Arts and some pop video channels. There were aircon / heating units in the lounge area and in the bedroom. The two sofas in the lounge would each have functioned as a single bed. The dining table was close enough to an electrical point and to the television for me to click away on my laptop while watching TV. The hot water was never in short supply and the shower was good. They brought us an unsolicited bottle of wine when we had a birthday during our stay. There always seemed to be people sat around the pool, although we were not amongst them. The staff were very helpful and checkout was at noon, which was handy.||The key comes out of the front door horizontally, which is OK when you know that. There are two lifts and a flight of stairs to get to the top / fifth floor. The adequate local shop is beneath a nearby hotel, on the other side of the road to where the internet map shows it. There is a better Spar a few minutes walk away. The recycling point is just opposite the hotel. The thrice-daily hotel minibus down to the marina was reliable. The number 9 public bus can be caught to either Albufeira or Faro from a street away from behind the hotel. With it comfortably quiet around the hotel, it may help you to know that the walk up from the town is an easy one along the cycle track that runs up the middle of the dual carriageway.||While I am definitely recommending this hotel, there are a few things that might be helpful to know: There could have been more electrical sockets in the apartment. The door handles protrude both sides of the spindle, doubling the chances of catching trouser pockets when passing. Self-catering; we found the kitchen to be poorly equipped and the knobs on the cooker to be unreliable. I don’t understand how the touch sensitive hob could ever have seemed like a good idea to anyone in any context. The kitchen bin could have been bigger; I didn’t even know that black bags that small were a thing. The bathroom could have had more than one hook on the walls and a functioning extractor fan. The shelf above the head end of the beds ruled out sitting up in bed. I thought that the fee to use the safe in our room was a bit mean when the aircon was free and the electricity not limited a by card in a slot.||Take a moment, early in your stay, to flick through the apartment’s...

These apartments are extremely overrated |There is absolutely nothing to do in the surrounding area.|1 overpriced Supermarket.|1 Restaurant...expensive...basic chicken meal + 1 drink each...€50.|The apartments are a decent size but are so old style...70's.|We had 2 sofa beds to sit on....they were so low, it was had for me to get up, so I spent 1 week sitting on a dining chair....not good.|The beds were ' singles ' but small ,only fit for children really....so uncomfortable. |There is a shuttle bus from the apartments to Vilamoura but once| You have seen the Marina that's it.|Expensive Yachts /Restaurants/Shops.|From the Marina you can walk up to Quateria...Nice beach and |better value.|Local bus service non existent....there is a bus runs from Faro to Albufeira...then back again...get this from the main Road...fare...€5.40 each , each way...which at nearly £10 a time is not good.|Taxis from Apartments are expensive so download The BOLT App...very good and reliable. |There are much better places than this...we were glad...

This hotel is just wonderful, we had such a brilliant stay here. The Staff are friendly and very good at what they do, Julia in the restaurant is a whirlwind, nothing is too much trouble for them. We booked this knowing it was not a 5 star hotel but it far exceeded our expectations, the restaurant was superb and the bar, with entertainment most nights, was a great place to meet other holidaymakers. |The studio apartment we had was comfortable, clean and well equipped with all that we needed. The cleaning team really take pride in their work and were quick delivering the extra pillow we asked for. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained and the swimming pool was clean, the area surrounding it pretty with plenty of sunbeds. The 3 times daily shuttle bus to the beach runs like clockwork.|I cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you want a relaxing break with plenty of restaurants within walking distance or the on site restaurant providing delicious food this could be your place. We will...

Lovely spacious apartment, well equipped, big (freshwater/unheated) pool, friendly staff, free courtesy bus to town 3 x daily, small, lively bar that feels like a family party, conservatory that was cold in the evenings in March (the weather was a bit cold/wet/windy) but guessing it would be nice in the warmer months, good entertainment, lifts in the main building, comfy beds (singles) plenty of HOT water, good shower. Clean towels & room serviced every day if you want! There’s not much in the surrounding area, it’s quiet…but taxis/ubers are cheap and fast into town. As a solo female traveler I made friends easily, felt safe and happy to go into the small bar area alone! I didn’t eat at the restaurant but others said it’s good 😊 Local mini mart for essentials, well kept gardens, excellent value for money 🙏🏻😊 other guests who come back time after time…says it all! Washing up liquid & sponge, a bottle of water and a litre of long life milk provided on arrival- much appreciated 🙏🏻 thank you

booked via jet 2 holidays, who may I point out were no help while on holiday. Checked into room went to sit on bed and a spring popped through. On inspection discovered mattress was covered in poo, Checked other 2 one had pee other had blood. Complained at reception within 20 mins of being in room, Sent a pr rep called Fiona as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. Complained to Jet to tried to fob me off till Wednesday 13th, Slept on floor first night as had been travelling since 4am and after 4 hours arguing with management I was shattered. Long and short I was supposedly upgraded free off charge to the room pictured. I paid extra and moved to pe do lago complex which was better, However my experience with staff was not and being in the tour industry myself you always have to treat your customers 100%. Its a standard. I would not stay at this resort again but its all down to personal options but I wouldnt expect people to pay for a bloody, pee, poo ridden bed.
