Casal Das Alfarrobeiras — Hotel in Loulé

We came here for a short 4night stay with two young children! Not easy to find|For taxi driver as our address given wasn’t the address of the reception! Once we eventually found at an extra cost of 10euros with all the extra driving around the reception staff were very friendly! We couldn’t check in til 4 but they said we could have the room for 1 instead of us hanging around! The room was basic 1 bedroom and kitchen/lounge area with pull out sofa bed! Basic kitchen facilities microwave fridge freezer toaster which was just enough for giving the kids breakfast! Aircon was great and worked a treat! No cleaning equipment in apartment eg: dustpan and brush! Bathroom was simple shower/bath but warm water kept going off so if wanted a shower/bath you had to be very quick! Room wasn’t turned over so eventually ran out of toilet roll which we had to go buy some! Pool area was very clean and quiet! Although not all rooms have designated sun loungers which we found this out when someone pointed out the numbers on the side and we got kicked off! Toilets near reception were always locked and if needed had to ask for key! If they were on lunch like on our last day then we couldn’t use a toilet! The location was good as was only a 20min pleasant walk to marina! Couldn’t get a late check out and had to be out of room by 11! Not a problem but as our flight was a late one we had nowhere to freshen up except the locked toilets which were small and basic! To be fair these are just minor details and shouldn’t put anyone off! The service is really bad. We booked an apartment, through booking.com Paid in advance by creditcard, told them what time we arrived. Nobody was there. We called Ana the check-in lady. she didn’t answer the phone. We called multiple times. She only answered once we send a WhatsApp message. We still were not allowed to call her. Than after two hours standing there trying to figure which is our apartment. She cancelled our booking. She was very rude on WhatsApp and said that booking.com made a mistake. It’s not her fault she only does check-ins nothing else. There we were on the street without a place to sleep. Worst...

Elegimos este apartahotel por una mezcla de precio y cercanía a la playa. La cercanía a la playa es relativa, no es primera línea, pero hay 2 km a la que puede ser una de las mejores playas de Europa, la de Falesia en su lado más oriental, así que para mí al menos no está mal.||||Las habitaciones son amplias, tienen muchas terrazas y tienen cocina y en mi caso cuarto de baño y otro de aseo, por ese lado genial.
