Very beautiful swimming pool indeed. But BEWARE when the waves are big: the pool is unsupervised, yesterday we saw someone go over the edge of the pool , got swepped away by a wave, once in the lifeboat, they started reanimation, don't know if she made it. A bystander jumped in the water...

We visited Seixal before but missed this beautiful spot. Only when we booked a local guide and traveled to Seixal again he showed this beautiful natural lava pool which is must see! Also the water is quite warm at the end of April so consider taking...

Stunning and quieter than other “piscinas” in the area - entrance here is free of charge. My friends and I spent an afternoon there and we loved it, there’s even a small food truck where you can order a bite and something to drink. Totally...

We visited Seixal before but missed this beautiful spot. Only when we booked a local guide and traveled to Seixal again he showed this beautiful natural lava pool which is must see! Also the water is quite warm at the end of April so consider taking a nice swim!

Cool place. Recommending you to not go by car (if you have some basic car and not 4x4) down there but rather to walk down and up the 33 degrees hill. Healthy for your curves, less air polution, less broken cars.
