Praia do Molhe — Attraction in Porto

Small beach area forming part of the Foz beach area. Mainly stoney with some sandy patches, quite a lot of seaweed. Area isn't overly touristic but is fairly pleasant with some decent yet slightly pricey restaurants nearby. Nice views but felt a little bit like the bad end of the beaches and felt a bit dead. Spectacular. The beaches are all good and clean, small, rocky, very close to the sea. They all have cafés with outdoor seating. I strongly recommend a visit and a walk along the beach line, there's a beautifully constructed path built specifically for this purpose. You also have a large pathway near the main avenue for walking, skating, etc, and a bycicle lane on the main road. It's a very romantic place, with gardens and benches, and it has a beautiful 19th century archway...

If the weather is windy, this place is truly magical! We spent hours on end just walking around and admiring the waves!

You’ll notice there are often two or three walkways on different elevations - that is very much intentional, since depending on the tide and wind the waves can EASILY cover the lower ones.
