Small beach area forming part of the Foz beach area. Mainly stoney with some sandy patches, quite a lot of seaweed. Read moreSpectacular. The beaches are all good and clean, small, rocky, very close to the sea. They all have cafés with outdoor seating. I strongly recommend a visit and a walk along the beach line, there's a beautifully constructed path built specifically for this purpose. You also have a large pathway near the main avenue for walking, skating, etc, and a bycicle lane on the main road. It's a very romantic place, with gardens and benches, and it has a beautiful 19th century archway...

You’ll notice there are often two or three walkways on different elevations - that is very much intentional, since depending on the tide and wind the waves can EASILY cover the lower ones.
