Porto Foz Hotel — Hotel in Porto

I was in the room "Grey" and grey it was. The walls have no acoustic isolation so you could hear everything from the other rooms. The bathroom was a struggle... The drain from the shower is stuffed so.. taking a shower longer than 5 minutes will result in a flod of the bathroom... The faucet from the sink was almost falling so i had to take care how i used it.... The toilet brush was just a half of a brush... The grip was missing so it was a bit weird to use it. I have never seen someone there... So i cannot rate the staff On the balcony of that room there were not one but two air-conditioning fans (lucky me) that i don't think that someone bothered to clean in the past years .. also when i went out and someone used the AC.... It was just a struggle not to mention that you can hear them in the room. Also the add on booking "promise" a sea side view... Spoiler alert, there is no sea side view.

It is a room that you can use if you are in transit and need to spend the night somewhere... For sure not for...

Residence build as an hotel in the 60". The residence occupy 2 floors of a residential building. Portofoz is located on the sea side about 25 mns from the center of Porto by bus. Bus stop located at 5 minutess from the hotel. The bus passes by every 10 mns. Our room had a balcony and a sea view. It feels like a throw back in the time in a very authentic way. Our room was decorated with very good pieces of antiques and our sheets were embroidered. The place was spotless. The bathroom was completely tiled and working efficiently. The breakfast was good and served in a tiny living room facing the sea. There are a lot of local restaurant and cafes nearby. We loved every bit of our stay. We would recommend this hotel to travelers who look for a non main stream experience and can appreciate the charming side...

My recent stay at Hotel Portofoz was an experience I'll cherish for years to come. From the moment we checked in, the friendly demeanor of the staff made us feel welcomed and right at home. Every morning, we looked forward to the delightful breakfast.

Another outstanding feature of our stay was the impeccable cleanliness of our room. It was serviced daily, leaving us with a fresh and tidy space to relax in after our day's adventures.

A special mention must be made of Fatima. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Her genuine care about our experience was evident in every interaction. On our last day, realizing we had an early departure, she arranged for us breakfast so that we wouldn't leave hungry

I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Portofoz to anyone...
