Quinta do Covelo — Attraction in Porto

It is a truly amazing park, with old trees, fountains, lots of space and has a playground but IT CLOSES 7:30PM EVEN IN THE SUMMER! I find it pretty ridiculous, because finishing work and coming back home, its already 6:30 pm, and then heading to the park is impossible because it closes so early. What about the parents that want to bring their kids to the playground after work?- Impossible. I do not understand why even during the light season- summer and spring, the closing hours are so early... truly...

One of the better parks within the Porto area with multiple structures for children and space for multiple activities including a cafe/launch area. A female family member was physically assaulted on 9 July 2025 in the outdoor gym area of the park. A tall man in his 30s or 40s(?) with short hair and a red t-shirt attempted to caress and then forcibly kissed her. She broke free and was able to run.
