Nice bakery/Cafe with good selection of pastries and dessert at reasonable prices. Staff at this bakery are pleasant most of the time and understand a bit of English.

We've visited this bakery and many others in our two months stay in Porto and have found out that in order to get adequate service at the counter for take away items you have to be aggressive. Being polite and patient and waiting for your turn doesn't work here in Porto as the locals/regulars don't want to wait for their turn and push their way through. The top spot around to get bica, chat with locals and eat your croissant (Portuguese, not French, mind you) and have a great time feeling like you are welcome. Every one soûl working here will make you feel like you are valued, take time to serve you perfectly and make sure you are satisfied. The great manager made my children stand on stoop so they could see, even came up with our same drinks on second day. My favorite bakery in Porto! I went to that bakery during my exchange semester in 2019 many times in a week bc their products were always delicious. Especially the chocolate croissant is worth to visit Porto :D honestly, I am not kidding it was the best croissant I‘ve ever had and everyone who tried it agreed with me!!
