Read moreThe service, place, and staff were incredible. People were friendly and kind. The restaurant itself was very modern with Mediterranean style decorations. There is a stand with fresh seafood and then you get to choose how itâs cooked.
As for the food, I was a bit dissatisfied with my order. I ordered a lobster and the waiter told me about the two styles that they cook with; one is without the shell with mushroom cream sauce and the other is with the shell and a sauce. I got the one without the shell, thinking that theyâd serve it like any other place, with the tail and claw meat removed and served with a sauce, however I received something resembling lobster Mac and cheese.

What I really liked:
The building itself is stunningâmarble floors, bright lighting, stained-glass ceiling panels, and ultra-clean halls. It doesnât feel like your typical fish market.
Great location in the Mina District near the Corniche, making it easy to include in a walk or sightseeing stop.
Friendly vendors who know their seafood and are helpful when you ask questions.
What to keep in mind:
Go early in the day for the best selectionâlate afternoon some items are already sold out or less fresh.
Itâs best if youâre comfortable selecting seafood or asking about cooking options; prices may vary for premium catches.
In short: Whether youâre shopping for fresh seafood or just want a quick photo stop in a beautifully designed market hall, Mina Fish Market offers a...
