Read moreA lot of potential. There's a parking lot...great objects and buildings but hardly explanation. As guide would be really great and I hope in future the houses in the higher parts are renovated. There are nice artisan house which are not accessible unfortunately. (e.g. Blacksmith). Very peaceful. With kids it's ok to do a few houses but it asks some creativity to keep them doing the whole parc as it's a lot 'more of the same'. (Suggestion: make a simple quest on paper or even just a drawing to colour to let the kids have more fun and attention for specific objects) Make it to the higher parts as there are 2 schools and a barrel makery and a beautiful wooden gate from 1933. Lots of apple and pear trees (suggestion: make compote from the fruit in stead of leaving them rotting in the grass and sell it as souvenir!) It would be a great to see live enacting event here and artisans making e.g. pottery or weaving....(suggestion: organise workshops with those old technics for kids and interested adults!). Also: the free playground across the museum in the public parc is really the best I have seen in West-Romania, highly...
