Floare de Colți — Hotel in Baia Mare

Stayed for two nights. Excellent value at LEI 90/night. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the town square. Bit hard to get there by car due to one-way system so probably need a GPS. Has parking inside for 10 cars or so.||||Breakfast at LEI 10 for an omelette with traditional stuff and coffee was good and good value.||||Downside is that even in the non-smoking rooms upstairs, there seemed to be cigarettes smoke drifting into the rooms. Only cleared at about 1am or so every night so did not get a full nights sleep. Deducted 2 stars for that. Nice and cheap hotel 5 mn walk from the city center. Big guarded parking in the yard. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet, big and very clean. The hotel has a small restaurant with Romanian food. Negative point: The menu is only in Romanian, (it's not so bad because the chief lady will translate it for you :-)). Very pleasant stay. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean, so were the sheets, and near the old town center. We came into Baia Mare for a wedding and booked at the last minute.
