Pensiunea Ideal — Hotel in Baia Mare

Located in the town's old center, Pensiunea Ideal is the perfect accommodation for those looking for a place in a quiet area, but still very close to both museums and restaurants and bars.||The rooms are big, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms' size vary from a room to another. This means, the rooms are not identical, and some small details (e.g. blanket) create a cozy atmosphere and make you feel like home.||The cleaning is excellent, the breakfast was nice, and the owners are very, very friendly. They speak good English and French, and of course, Romanian.||||For us, the best things about Pensiunea Ideal are the excellent cleaning and the location. Nice pensionat at owners not speak English well,even not want to be helpful, offers b&b never gets, payment and price are very high to service,one coffee a day offered,lots problems in few days what staying there property not good condition,air conditioning not working, lots missing in room,no towels, furniture are bad conditions, smoking alarm was getting on , complain me what nothing done,is kitchen there, at for ??? Who knows??? Was ironing desk at no iron to use, kettle in room with two coffee, manners of owner special Lady are completely 0 , husband friendly,on last two days employee good nice person what good speaking English and very friendly, good and honest , hope she will gets pays better like my service. Driving around in Romania and found we needed a room in Baia Mare for the night. Up the end of a lane we saw Ideal's sign so we went and had a look. We were very glad we did. A ground floor (although up a few stairs) large, comfortable room. It had a sofa and a (interesting) coffee table. It's only a few hundred metres from the main square.
