Drobeta Turnu Severin Jurnal de călătorie. Ziua 1-a (continuare)

This museum is located in the middle of the city, and has a couple floors with very different exhibits on each level.

The best part of this museum of course, is the top level which overlooks Drobeta-Turnu Severin. In good weather, it is a beautiful view! You can walk outside around the perimeter and take photos of all of the angles. It's worth visiting for sure, and it was not busy when I was here.

One of the staff members does speak English. There is also an elevator inside. Take a hat with you, the weather...

The Water Castle was more than it seems. I was prepared to be annoyed because it wasn't lit up when we arrived the night before but we decided to try it out the next morning since the weather called for rain. What a fun treat! It tells you the history of the water tower on the top floor, the people who inhabited the island that was destroyed to make way for ships on another level and the film history of Geo Saizescu. An interesting time and a worthwhile stop for any tourist who...

Beautiful place to visit. Sadly we were not able to see the view from the outside as all the doors were locked. You go all the way up with an elevator and then you slowly go down the stairs to visit each floor. They had some jars with pictures under water that you could bring to life through the app Artivive, showing you how life was in Ada Kaleh. The other two floors didn't have much to see. The guy at the entrance wasn't the nicest, but overall it was nice experience.
