NEST Hotel & Restaurant — Restaurant in Drobeta-Turnu Severin

We picked this place for an overnight stay while being on vacation. When travelling with 2 kids the choices of decent places are limited. ||||Advantages : ||- possibility to check in at any time ( reception is there till 10 PM if I remember correctly but they give you a code to access the area) ||- good breakfast ||- parking - though they don't have their own private parking you can park on the street and the place is lighted enough and there were enough places to leave the car even if we arrived late at night || ||Why I'm not giving it a 5 star review is because of the following 2 reasons :||||- no sheets, covers and pillows for the kids - when you know you have a family with kids booking a room I would expect at least to find bed sheets, covers and pillows for the kids and not have to split those from the adults. You are paying for a bigger room so at least the basics should be included. ||||- hair in the towels - while picking one of the towels after having a shower I found a small ball of hair in the towel... whoever washes home and has problems with hair loss knows when you take the laundry out you get also a ball of hair that was stuck on the clothes. It happens but I would expect whoever is wrapping the towels to have a...

One of the best hotels I've stayed in.Everything was impeccable! We arrived pretty late at the accomodation and the restaurant was nearly closing but we wanted to stay for a drink. The waiting staff gladly offered us beer on the house as a welcome gift and also helped us with the luggage upstairs. The restaurant has a very comfy feel , the ambiance was great, amazing music and delicious wines.  Worth trying their range as they have a wide variety to pick from.

The rooms felt very comfortable, modern and very clean. The bathroom also looked very modern and had a warm feel due to the wooden floor. My room also had a pretty impressive terrace from which you could hear the birds chirping all day long. So, I really felt like being in a real nest of birds. Apart from all, the most impressive thing was the personalized message left on the desk which made me feel really welcomed. The food service was impeccable. We've had a couple of vegetarian burgers which were delicious and also got to taste some chicken paté on the house. Overall I can say it's one of my favourite hotels in Romania.
