Hotel Alex — Hotel in Galați

My stay at Hotel Alex in Galați was absolutely terrible. The room was small, overpriced, and filthy. Dust covered every surface, and the carpet was stained with what I can only describe as disgusting. To make matters worse, the air conditioning wasn’t working, so the room was freezing at night.

The bathroom was a complete disaster—dirty towels, grime everywhere, and an overall lack of hygiene. The worst part? The hotel seemed to be a hotspot for older men bringing in prostitutes late at night, making the entire place noisy and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was sketchy, and I didn’t feel safe at all.

For the high price they charge, this hotel is an absolute joke. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free. Avoid...

The hotel is very central, couple of minutes from everything in Galati city center. The customer service is all good. The place looks very elegant, the interior stairway is very nice. The room is the biggest (and highest) one we have ever stayed in. Private parking space, which would be an issue certainly in this part of town. The price is good. The room being so big, a bit difficult to warm up, so it felt chilly, especially since the blankets are one person, small. Внешне новый ресторан, со свежей отделкой. На этом все прелести и заканчиваются. Из плюсов в номере можно назвать только кровать, она на самом деле очень удобная. В остальном все ниже ожидания. Номера маленькие, темные и не удобные. Начиная от замка на двери, и до самой ванной комнаты. В ванной комнате гель для душа в больших флаконах на стене, шампуня нет, тапочек нет, халатов нет. Двери на душевой кабинке отваливаются, горячая вода, вообще не горячая, ждать пока пробежит 5 минут. Питьевая вода выставленная на столе в качестве комплимента, ужасная, с каким то характерным запахом. Отдельно хочется остановиться на розетках, спрятанных за стеновой панелью, вставить туда вилку не получиться. Если хотите зарядить телефон, то надо выключить холодильник. Завтрак скудный, яйцо или омлет на выбор с ветчиной и помидорами. На шведском столе, колбаса, сыр и какие то сомнительные круасан. Капучино нет. Стоят банки с мюсли, но нет молока, чем их заливать не понятно. На первом этаже с утра, начинает топать и кричать персонал, спать не возможно. За что они берут 250 лей (55 €) за ночь,...
