Corner House — Restaurant in Galați

We reserved a table here for a a group of 13. We got a table on the terrace which was absolutely beautiful with aesthetically pleasing decor. There was a live DJ playing music which made for a very enjoyable atmosphere.

We ordered an assortment of food with which everyone were very happy with and were in large portions.

To drink I ordered the Sunshine - a non-alcoholic cocktail and I absolutely loved it. It was served in a large glass with pieces of fresh fruit.

For the main course I ordered the Tomahawk porc with potatoes. The meat was perfectly cooked and superbly spiced, as were the potatoes.

The service was fast and friendly and the price-quality was perfect.

All-in-all we had a wonderful dining experience at "C House" and look forward to coming...

Amplasarea localului este chiar pe faleza vis-a-vis de Biserica fortificată Sfânta Precista. Mi s-a parut ca locurile de parcare sunt destul de limitate. Am luat pranzul pe terasa. Ne-a servit un ospatar putin "distrat" si neatent. Ne-am asezat iar el statea si de uita la noi, pana a trebuit sa ii cer meniul, pentru ca el nu se sesiza cu nimic. Sotia mea a comandat o salata cu vita. iar eu o salata caesar, despre care se spunea in meniu ca e facuta dupa reteta originala. Nu stiu daca reteta originala continea pui, dar sigur nu continea radicchio, otet balsamic si nici nu era facuta cu salata lollo biondo. Am mai cerut putin dressing, pentru ca mi s-a parut putin la cat morman de salata mi-a fost servit si a venit dupa 10 minute cu un sos cocktail pe care i l-am dat inapoi si am asteptat iar 5 min sa vina dressingul. Total 15 plus 35 pana a venit comanda. Dar nu ne grabeam nicaieri. Ospatarul parea obosit si nu cred ca trebuia sa lucreze in ziua aia. Am cerut un expresso scurt si a venit lung. La partea a doua am vrut paste. In meniu toate pastele erau cu "paste" in fata, fara sa stii ce paste mananci. Poate vor sa ofere clientilor o surpriza. Eu am comandat pasta picante con frutti di mare. Si au venit niste linguini cu un sos de rosii tip marinara si niste fructe de mare prin el. Mult prea mult sos! Au fost gustoase si am apreciat ca nu au pus parmezan, asa cum fac multe restaurante cu specific care pun parmezan la toate pastele, inclusiv la cele cu fructe de mare. La desert sotia mea a mancat o inghetata, iar eu un fel de tiramisu, poate ca si el tot original, dar nu cred. Una peste alta am avut parte de o atmosfera placuta, mancare cu gust si preturi destul de accesibile. Cu siguranta ma voi intoarce si voi...

Food taste is all five stars, but the time we waited today for our food was too long considering the restaurant was not even half way filled, and the other is a disappointment when I received my “Fresh Cheesecake “ was frozen and was unable to cut it with the small spoon they gave me with it. Again the Sea bass and the smoked salmon I’ve had here are to die for and those get five stars but the timing and desert quality failed today. I’ll be back next time and hope to be proven wrong and I can give you all five...
