short story long : Don't. As a first time a foreigner I have never felt this kind of racism before in my 26 years life until I went to this university ... The worst, happened. I left home expecting to have an interesting experience and was so excited to study the master programm here in Russia , I made a fool of myself thinking this is a good idea ! over many other better options, just to be faced with such disgusting racism behaviours. that's on me but what this university did was beyond my understanding. I finished my 1st year russian language like any other, passed the master entrance exams for this one and 3 others. just imagine I paid the program and started to study online the first week then they said we have to study in classes. I took 9 hours train to there, I was thinking I will not come back to the previous dormitory so took all the belongings, was on the streets, all morning waiting just so the immigration service in the university say they will not renew the visa ! I asked why and they said they don't accept my 1 year Russian language course diploma. At my surprise I asked but how when you accepted it at first and I passed the entrance exams you can't say this after all that ! it doesn't make sense. they were ignorant and told me go back to your country and we will renew it " in a sarcastic tone" . I was very confused asked if I go back and come back I will have to study language course again or what I'm supposed to do ? and they said no you will keep studying the master !! I had no idea what the hell all that for. I even asked a Russian lawyer who confirmed that's weird and illogical. The young lady there in the migration service at the university was so unpleasant, unprofessional, racist and very uneducated... not just her all the stuff excluding one or two. the rest is just a menace. can't describe how frustrated I was. they did not try to give a valid reason to why they refuse even tho I chose this university over the other 3 who were willing to help with any small matter. Masters degree programs are full of lies. Teachers don't show up, you don't even have classes and they continue asking you paying. If you want to do a serious master dont go there because you will get rob and you will learn nothing.
