Museum of Russian Icons — Attraction in Tagansky District

Interesting as it is the largest private collection of Russian Icons (also presented a small collection of Ethiopian Christian art and some pieces of Byzantine sacred art). Interesting pieces of northern Russian icons. All gathered over the last 15 years at most by a modern Russian mécène. Small museum but we'll maintained and the security staff if is pretty strict about the discipline ! Yes, when the say know touching and no flashes on Ethiopian section of the museum on the 4th floor .... That means NO and NO and NO. Trust me you don't wanna mess with them, it's not the best thing I'd advise you to do there ... I've seen the security staff dealing with people messing around and you don't wanna be one of those. Rest is all yours and enjoy your visit. Tip: Christian people will enjoy their presence...
