Our small group tour stopped here en route to the airport for some last minute shopping and cultural exploration of the on-site mansion.
I was so glad we stopped here because some of the handicrafts and art found here was really being made on-site by the artisans and small shops and you could talk to them and learn about their processes. This craft village provided an opportunity for us to walk around at leisure and shop and support the local economy.

Read moreIt is a Creole Village experience. The Craft huts has the old historical architecture and you can view/buy all your local souvenirs from them. In the biggest building, you can see all the historical items( pots, furnitures, toys, old house models, house accessories, etc..) that was used by our ancestors.
On some days you can even taste the different local cuisine of Seychelles. Nowadays, mostly every month, they have a different event promoting a local delicacy. So pass by to indulge the local cuisine, snacks and drinks.

But still your can walk around the small cottages and on the veranda of the main house and also see a lot of the items (the outdoor Kitchen for example).
